KBS010:Gene Transfer Experiment
Results from a field plot experiment to examine mechanisms of gene transfer in soil. Field plots (4 treatments x 2 replicate blocks) have been treated differentially with 2,4-D; population of 2,4-D-metabolizing bacteria determined using plasmid gene probes and MPN plate counts.
