Abstract
Sampling Frequency: annually
Leaves that drop during the season are collected in 0.8 m * 1.2 m wooden litter trap frames (frames were designed to fit between the poplar rows) . Two traps are installed in each plot of the coniferous, deciduous and poplar treatments following leaf emergence in late May . Leaves within the traps are collected throughout the season, dried, weighed, and archived for tissue analysis .
