The Allurement Salon is a celebration and a showcase of KBS science and programs expressed through the arts. The event will feature original artwork, poetry, and prose inspired by the hospitality of the lands and people of KBS.
We are seeking submissions for your original work—including poetry, essays, songs, dance, sketches, or photography—that is inspired by your research and experiences at KBS.
You are also welcome to simply attend the Allurement Salon and celebrate the collaborations and stories expressed while enjoying refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
There are two ways to participate:
- RSVP: Let us know you are interested in attending by emailing: arts.kbs.lter@kbs.msu.edu; or
- Create a contribution to be on display, read, sung, played, or danced! Join us on at least one monthly Zoom Call- to be supported in the process and receive focused reflection and answers to questions. Our first meeting will be on August 28th!
We look forward celebrating with you, and hosting an evening exploring the spaces where art and science meet!
