Abraha, M., I. Gelfand, S. K. Hamilton, J. Chen, and G. P. Robertson. 2019. Data from: Carbon debt of field-scale Conservation Reserve Program grasslands converted to annual and perennial bioenergy crops. Dryad Digital Repository. doi: 10.5061/dryad.224rg77
The data are collected from field experiments at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station (KBS) Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) site of the Michigan State University from 2009 through 2016. The file contains annual CO2-equivalent balances of net ecosystem C exchange (measured using eddy covariance), N2O and CH4 fluxes (measured using chamber methodology), grain yield and/or biomass weighed from entire field and CO2-equivalent emissions due to farming operations and agronomic inputs. These data were used to compute fossil fuel offset credit, global warming impact (GWI) and emission reduction relative to lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions of gasoline (fossil fuel) for each bioenergy system.
