Agronomic Yields of Weed and Fertilizer Microplots — Main Cropping System Experiment (MCSE)

Agronomic grain yields of corn, soybean, and wheat, at standard moisture, from the nitrogen-fertilized and weed-free microplots in MCSE Treatments 3 and 4. Microplots were established (2006-2014) to determine how crop yield is influenced by weed populations and/or nitrogen availability.

This datatable is part of the Weed and Fertilizer Microplots dataset. To test the effect of incomplete weed control on the yield we established microplots at the north end of T3 and T4 between 2006 and 2014.

The treatments were a factorial combination of 3 weed control strategies ("business as usual", "weed free", and "no weed control" ) and 2 fertilization strategies ("fertilized" and "unfertilized")
